Thompson, Rosenthal & Watts, LLP, represents clients in various administrative actions. Attorney John Broihier has represented the Illinois Fire and Police Commissioners Association since 1978. Further, he assists fire and police commissions and merit commissions throughout the State of Illinois in the preparation of rules and regulations, the selection and promotion of police officers and fire fighters and the conduct of disciplinary hearings related to the suspension or removal of officers and fire fighters for misconduct.
Additionally, we represent those same entities in situations in which the administrative matters are appealed to the Illinois circuit court or the Illinois appellate court.
Further, we have represented nursing homes in the administrative appeals of adverse decisions by the Department of Health and Human Services.
